What if they're shy or nervous on camera?
Most people are. That's completely normal. We're experienced interviewers who know how to make people feel comfortable. Within 10 minutes, most people forget the camera is even there. It ends up being one of the most meaningful conversations they've ever had.
How long does the filming take?
Depends on the package. The Story is a relaxed half-day session. The Feature is a full day. The Legacy spans 2–3 days. We never rush — the best stories come when people feel at ease.
Do you travel to us?
Yes. We film UK-wide. We come to your home, a family location, or wherever feels most meaningful. Travel is included in all packages.
Can we include old photos and home videos?
Absolutely. We integrate your family archive — photos, old VHS footage, letters, anything meaningful — into the final film. It adds incredible depth to the story.
What if someone is terminally ill?
We understand the sensitivity and urgency. We can prioritise your booking and work around medical schedules. Every film we make is handled with dignity, care, and discretion.
Can they record messages to individual family members?
Yes. Individual messages are included in The Feature and The Legacy packages. These are private, personal messages delivered separately to each family member. They're often the most treasured part.
How long until we receive the finished film?
Typically 4–6 weeks after filming. We take our time with the edit to make sure it's perfect. Rush delivery is available for urgent situations.
Could we just do this on a phone?
You could. But a phone on a kitchen table doesn't create the same atmosphere, draw out the same stories, or produce something your family will genuinely want to watch again and again. This is a professional, cinematic experience — and the difference shows.
